I received the happy news recently that I continue to be a SharePoint MVP for another year – the 7th time for me. As always, it’s been great interacting with the community over the last 12 months. Every year I like to jot down on my blog the community “things” I did in the previous year - this list is mainly for me rather than you, but here are some the things I got up to:
- Making a subtitled step-by-step video on remote SharePoint code in Azure (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4T1eLg0_to)
- Two talks at the recent SharePoint Evolutions roadshow conference
- “Modern SharePoint Development - techniques for moving code off SharePoint servers”
- “An intro to the new developer APIs for Office 365” (will be uploaded to my SlideShare soon)
- Two talks at the European SharePoint Conference 2014 (held in Barcelona)
- More blogging – nearly 200,000 unique visitors in last 12 months according to the analytics
- A session at the SP24 online conference
- A talk at the UK SharePoint user group
- An Ask The Experts session, also at SUGUK
- A talk at SharePoint Saturday UK 2013
It’s been a privilege to be part of the community, and I hope to continue to be useful over the next 12 months!
